The Chemical Brothers - Swoon (Linstrom & Prins Thomas RMX)
These two add disco bumps to a classic Chemical Brothers song, making it (in my opinion) so much more infectious. Amazing remix.

My name is Angelina, I'm 21 years old and from Toronto. Professional roamer, ambient enthusiast, forever inappropriate. This is my outlet; my little nook where I post music (lo-fi, industrial, trip-hop etc.), design, places, and anything else that sparks my (short) attention.
Mister Lies - False Astronomy
This should only be heard with the best headphones you can find. Hits hard.
Off his Hidden Neighbors EP.

Oof.

Let it all out girrrrl.
Doldrums - Jump Up
Fresh new track from experimental Montreal/T.O artist Airick Woodhead aka Doldrums, off his upcoming album Egypt 12”. It’s a hectic one with powerful drums and zapping synths. Diggggggin’ that Middle-Eastern vibe. Like most of his songs, this will be on repeat for the whole day which I’m totally fine with! It’s weird yet accessible, and leaves an impression.
He’s currently touring Europe with Grimes then doing North America in June. Tour dates here.
CRAAZY. Next level accessorizing?

Couriers - Nothing To Show
Listening to this is like time traveling to a high school prom in the 60’s. This song was meant for that last slow-dance.
COURIERS is a 5-piece from Toronto with a specialty in surf-rock-pop. There’s an easy-going nature in their sound that paints pictures of all the good things summer brings: late night bike rides, park hangs, introductions & innocent crushes…
The vocals are honest and vulnerable as the lead sings about heart-break and reunions. I hear 90’s influences in their guitar work, some of which reminds of early Strokes/Albert Hammond Jr’s solo stuff.
Check these guys out on their soundcloud and facebook.
Nicholas Jaar - Don’t Break My Love
There’s not one song of his I don’t like love. So many odd little details are magnified with each listen, missed the first time around.
